Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- The lira climbed against the dollar for a second day after industrial output in November gained 8.4 percent, less than economists expected.
The lira advanced 0.6 percent to 1.8688 at 10:03 a.m. in Istanbul. Industrial output was expected to increase 10 percent, according to the median estimate of nine economists in a Bloomberg survey.
