German Two-Year Notes Advance; Yield Declines to Record Low

Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- German two-year notes advanced, pushing the yield to a record low.

The yield on the 0.25 percent security due December 2013 decreased two basis points to 0.143 percent at 3:05 p.m. London time, after being as low as 0.14 percent, the least since Bloomberg started tracking the data in 1990.

Ten-year yields were little changed at 1.86 percent.
