Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Swiss central Bank Vice President Thomas Jordan said that he has “no doubt” that the country’s large banks will be able to raise capital buffers in what he called a “cautionary measure.”
“Large banks have already taken massive efforts,” Jordan said at a press conference in Bern today. “The situation in financial markets has significantly worsened and that’s why it’s necessary to quickly improve the capital situation.”
