Turkey Stocks Movers: Aksa Enerji, Dogan Yayin, Isbank Active

Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index fell 2.3 percent to 51,338.97 at 5:30 p.m. in Istanbul, closing at the lowest level since Nov. 25.

The following stocks were active on the Turkish stock market today. Stock symbols are in parentheses.

Aksa Enerji Uretim AS (AKSEN TI), a Turkish power generator, declined 3.2 percent to 3.05 liras. The utility’s owner Kazanci Holding AS applied to the Istanbul Stock Exchange yesterday to sell 183.1 million shares, or a 32 percent stake, in the unit.

Dogan Yayin Holding AS (DYHOL TI), Turkey’s biggest listed media group, dropped 3.8 percent to 51 kurus. Businessmen Aydin Dogan said he won’t sell more of the media group’s assets, CNBC- e television reported today. Dogan Yayin’s parent Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding AS (DOHOL TI) lost 5.6 percent to 51 kurus, declining for a third day.

Turkiye Is Bankasi AS (ISCTR TI), Turkey’s biggest listed bank by assets, fell 4.4 percent to 3.28 liras, the lowest level since July 2009. The head of economic policy for Turkey’s governing party called for a probe into the bank’s relationship with the main opposition party, Sabah newspaper reported.
