Dec. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Jon S. Corzine, former chairman and chief executive of MF Global Holdings Ltd., said JPMorgan Chase & Co. contacted him about an overdraft of funds before the New York-based broker filed for bankruptcy.
Corzine, during testimony at a Senate Agriculture Committee hearing, said he had “no personal knowledge” of the overdraft issue when JPMorgan contacted MF Global on Oct. 28. MF Global filed for bankruptcy protection on Oct. 31.
