Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- France Telecom SA has yet to agree to sell mobile phone operator Orange Austria to Hutchison Whampoa Ltd for 1.4 billion euros, Austrian daily newspaper WirtschaftsBlatt reported, citing “involved sources.”
Orange’s 65 percent owner Mid Europa Partners has agreed to the price, the Vienna-based daily said. France Telecom owns 35 percent of the company.
Hutchison isn’t interested in buying Orange’s discount arm Yesss, according to the paper, and Telekom Austria AG may be interested in buying it.
