Nov. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Taiwan trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices as of 9:54 a.m. in Taipei.
The Taiex Index fell 0.6 percent to 6,944.36. The gauge has slumped 8.5 percent in November, the most in three months.
Taiwan Fertilizer Co. (1722 TT) dropped 1 percent to NT$72.70. The company was cut to “hold” from “buy” by Andre Chang, an analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc.
TPK Holding Co. (3673 TT) gained 0.9 percent to NT$414. The touch panel company’s sales continued to climb in November, Commercial Times reports, citing president Tom Sun. Kevin Wang, deputy director of finance, confirmed that the company expects November sales to climb.
Uni-President Enterprises Co. (1216 TT) advanced 1.1 percent to NT$41.40. The company was rated “overweight” in new coverage by Abel Lee, an analyst at HSBC Holdings Plc.
