China Starts Probe on U.S. Renewable Energy Policies, Subsidies

Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- China started an investigation on supportive policies and subsidies on U.S. products in the renewable energy sector, according to a statement posted on the Ministry of Commerce’s website.

The ministry launched the investigation after recieving an application from trade and industry organizations of Chinese producers, the statement said.

Chinese groups declared that the U.S. policies and subsidies violated World Trade Organization rules and impact Chinese exports to the U.S., according to the statement.
