Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX stock index snapped a seven-day decline, rising 0.9 percent to 852.4 at its 4:28 p.m. close in Prague.
The following were among the most active equities on the Prague Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Fortuna Entertainment Group NV (FORTUNA CP) advanced 2.8 percent to 93 koruna, paring its loss this month to 3.4 percent. The Czech bookmaker’s shares were upgraded to “buy” from “hold” at Komercni Banka AS.
Unipetrol AS (UNIP CP), the country’s biggest oil refiner, rebounded from a three-month low, rising 0.9 percent to 171.45 koruna. Crude oil rose from a two-week low after a surprise drop in U.S. stockpiles, and as an unexpected advance in German business confidence countered concern that Europe’s debt crisis will hurt growth.
