November 23, 2011

Nov. 23 (Bloomberg) -- A.M. Naik, chairman of Larsen & Toubro Ltd., comments on Tata Sons Ltd. naming Cyrus P. Mistry, the son of its biggest shareholder, as successor to Chairman Ratan Tata. He spoke in a Bloomberg UTV interview today.

“Cyrus Mistry is quite well known in the industry. We have heard good things about him.

‘‘Being young helps as it will give Tata group stability. Also being the largest shareholder, Mistry would be charged up and motivated to take Tata group to another level. Top of the agenda for him would be to keep up the momentum of the huge empire under the the mentorship of Ratan Tata. He will be able to come up with new ideas.’’
