U.S. Stocks Retreat as Europe Concern Overshadows Economic Data

Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks retreated for a second day as concern about Europe’s debt crisis overshadowed better- than-estimated economic data.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index lost 0.2 percent to 1,234.37 at 9:32 a.m. in New York after slumping 1.7 percent yesterday.
