Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos said lawmakers will vote on the country’s new loan agreement by the end of December.

“I want to assure you that public-sector wages and pensions will be paid on time and in full, but for that to happen, there must be sufficient funds, and for that to happen we must to what it takes to secure the release of the sixth installment,” he said in a speech today ahead of a vote of confidence in the new government. His comments were televised live on state-run Vouli TV.
