Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- China Windpower Group Ltd. agreed to pay 738 million yuan to buy wind turbines from Sinovel Wind Group Co. and Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., according to a statement from the company to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
China Windpower’s Tianjin Century Concord Huaxing Wind Power Equipment Co. signed two agreements to pay a total of 500 million yuan to Sinovel for its turbines for two wind farms in Jilin province that have capacities of 49.5 megawatts each, according to the statement.
The unit also agreed to pay 238 million yuan to buy turbines from Goldwind for a 49.5-megawatt wind farm in Liaoning province, the statement said.
