FSA, OFT Propose New Rules for Payment Protection Insurance

Nov. 1 (Bloomberg) -- U.K. finance and antitrust regulators proposed new guidance for sales of payment protection insurance.

The Financial Services Authority and Office of Fair Trading said lenders should make sure the products are suitable for customers and that consumers fully understand the nature of the products.
