Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Bangkok.
The SET Index rose 0.2 percent to 974.75. The gauge climbed 6.4 percent in October, the first gain in three months.
Asia Plus Securities Pcl (ASP TB), Thailand’s third-biggest stock brokerage by market value, declined 3.2 percent to 1.79 baht, the largest decrease since Oct. 20. The company reported a 66 percent drop in the third-quarter net income to 104.4 million baht ($3.4 million).
Bualuang Securities Pcl (BLS TB), a stock brokerage, jumped 3.9 percent to 13.5 baht, the highest close since Sept. 13. Net income in the third quarter climbed 17 percent to 135.7 million baht.
Central Pattana Pcl (CPN TB), the nation’s largest shopping mall operator, lost 1.5 percent to 32.5 baht, the biggest drop since Oct. 25. The company will close a store in Bangkok today because of flooding, the company said in an e-mailed statement.
