South Africa’s Rand Erases Drop Versus Dollar, Trades at 7.8702

Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- The rand erased an earlier decline against the dollar, strengthening for a third day.

The currency of Africa’s biggest economy traded less than 0.1 percent up at 7.8702 per dollar by 1:46 p.m. in Johannesburg. Earlier, it weakened as much as 0.8 percent.
