Malaysia October 1-20 Palm Oil Exports Rise 6.8%, SGS Reports

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Malaysia’s palm oil exports rose 6.8 percent in the first 20 days of October compared with the previous month, according to Societe Generale de Surveillance, an independent cargo surveyor.

A total of 1,033,454 metric tons of palm oil were tracked, SGS said in an e-mailed report today. Malaysia exported 967,859 tons of the commodity during the same period in September, according to the surveyor.
