IMF’s Chopra Says Ireland Tackling Mortgage Arrears Sensibly

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- International Monetary Fund Deputy Director Ajai Chopra said that Ireland is going about resolving mortgage arrears at its banks in a “sensible” way.

Chopra, speaking to reporters in Dublin on Ireland’s quarterly bailout review, said the government is right to take a “case-by-case” approach on mortgage arrears.
