Vietnam Aims to Cut Budget Deficit to 4.5% of GDP by 2015

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Vietnam aims to reduce its budget deficit to 4.5 percent of gross domestic product by 2015, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said in the text of a speech at the National Assembly today.

The country wants to cut the budget deficit to 4.8 percent of GDP next year, from an estimated 4.9 percent this year, Dung said.
