Turkish Central Bank Offers $70 Million in Auction, Lira Slides

Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey’s central bank offered $70 million for liras in an auction today, less than some investors expected. The lira fell.

The lira lost 0.2 percent to 1.8358 per dollar at 11:01 a.m. in Istanbul, extending earlier declines.
