Alrosa, M Video, Novolipetsk: Russian Stock Market Preview

Oct. 18 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may be active in Russian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the previous close.

The 30-stock Micex Index fell 2 percent to 1,403.05. The dollar-denominated RTS Index declined 1.5 percent to 1,427.31.

OAO Alrosa (ALRS RU): The country’s diamond monopoly is set to report first-half earnings. The company’s shares fell 1.5 percent to $1.12.

M Video (MVID RM): The Russian electronics retailer is due to report third-quarter earnings. The stock gained 2.5 percent to 197 rubles.

OAO Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK RX): The steelmaker controlled by billionaire Vladimir Lisin is due to report third-quarter output. Company shares fell 4.1 percent to 78.32 rubles.
