Allied Irish May Tap Duffy As CEO, Sunday Business Post Says

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Allied Irish Banks Plc may appoint David Duffy as chief executive officer, the Sunday Business Post reported, without citing anyone.

Allied Irish has submitted a proposal to the Finance Ministry and the appointment must be signed off by the goverment, the newspaper reported. The state has a majority stake in Dublin-based Allied Irish.
