Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 3:30 p.m. close in Mumbai.
The BSE India Sensitive Index, or Sensex, fell 0.5 percent to 15,792.41. The BSE200 Index dropped 0.5 percent to 1,950.39.
Kernex Microsystems India Ltd. (KMSI IN) rose 2.1 percent to 90.5 rupees, the biggest gain in a month. The software maker got an order worth 167.7 million rupees from Konkan Railway.
Punj Lloyd Ltd. (PUNJ IN) gained 1.1 percent to 52.95 rupees, the largest gain in a week. Qatar Solar Technologies, a unit of the Qatar Foundation, said yesterday it awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract to Punj Lloyd Group.
Rolta India Ltd. (RLTA IN) dropped 9.2 percent to 70.3 rupees, its lowest since Apr. 2, 2009. The maker of design software’s founder pledged 4.6 percent of co.’s equity.
