Ruble Drops for Fifth Day, Heads for July 2009 Low Versus Dollar

Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- The ruble declined for a fifth day, weakening 0.3 percent to 32.6799 against the dollar, heading for its lowest level since July 2009, by 10:05 a.m. in Moscow. The Russian currency gained 0.3 percent to 43.1801 versus the euro, poised for its strongest close since Sept. 22.
