Russian Railways Says Cargo Volumes Grew 3% in First Nine Months

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Russian Railways said it shipped 921.7 million tons of cargo in the first nine months, an increase of 3 percent compared with a year earlier.

Cargo volumes rose 0.6 percent in September from last year to 102.7 million tons, the state rail monopoly said today in an e-mailed statement.
