India’s 10-Year Bond Yields Rise to 8.52%, Highest in 3 Years

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- India’s 10-year bonds fell for a fifth day, pushing yields to the highest level in three years, after the government increased by 32 percent its scheduled debt sales for the six months ending March 31.

The yield on the 7.8 percent note due April 2021 jumped eight basis points to 8.52 percent, the highest level since September 2008, according to the central bank’s trading system.
