Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- More than two thirds of French voters expect President Nicolas Sarkozy to lose the 2012 election, and a majority feel Foreign Minister Alain Juppe would make a better candidate for the ruling UMP party, a poll found.
The survey by Viavoice showed 26 percent of voters said they’d rather see Juppe represent the UMP, compared with 21 percent who prefer Sarkozy. Liberation newspaper commissioned the poll.
