EBRD to Lend 200 Million Euros to Ukraine’s Hydropower Operator

Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved a 200 million-euro loan to Urgidroenergo, a Ukrainian state-run operator of hydro generating and pump storage facilities, the London-based lender said today in an e-mailed statement. The loan, which will mature in 15 years, will be used to upgrade 28 power units at six hydro generating plants, according to the statement.
