Brazil Inflation to Ease 1.5 Points by April, Tombini Says

Sept. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Brazil’s inflation rate will ease by at least 1.5 percentage points by April, central bank President Alexandre Tombini said.

Twelve-month inflation is on a downward trajectory and will begin to slow in the fourth quarter of this year as the full effect of the bank’s interest-rate increases is felt, Tombini said at an event in Curitiba.
