Microsoft Corp.
General Manager, DirectX multimedia
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
Engstrom, a seven-year veteran of Microsoft, is in charge of creating technology for Windows that allows software developers to incorporate audio, video, and animation into their programs.
EXPECTED TO TESTIFY:
Engstrom is supposed to refute testimony from Apple Computer executive Avadis "Avie" Tevanian Jr. that Microsoft urged Apple to stop producing its QuickTime multimedia technology for Windows -- thus dividing the market for such software with Microsoft. He'll say Microsoft actually offered to promote QuickTime.
