KT Freetel

Korea's No.2 mobile carrier controls about a third of the country's mobile market -- the third largest in Asia. It taps on the extensive fixed-line networks of its parent, KT Corp., the country's dominant phone and broadband-service provider, to generate greater data traffic. Three out of four Koreans carrying mobile phones, so the rivalry between SK Telecom and KT Freetel has made Korea a test market for the industry.
