The Institute of Design, Patrick Whitney’s remarkable grad school of innovation, is holding its annual stratey meeting this Thursday and Friday. Go. Just go if you can and listen to SAP’s Hasso Plattner (the guy who gave $30 million of his own money to help set up the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford), Roger Martin, dean of the Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Larry Keeley of Doblin, Wired’s Chris Anderson and many more really smart people.

The Institute of Design is an important source of talent for any corporation or organization looking for people who know how to innovate. It’s graduates go into strategy, marketing—as well as design.
