Big Core77 Design Conference in San Francisco Coming Up.

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on May 30, 2006

It’s just a week away so if you are in San Francisco on June 6, check out this great design and innovation conference by our partners, core77.

It’s rare to have such luminaries as trend-spotter Robyn Waters, our very own Jessie Scanlon, the curator of our Innovation & Design portal, Diego Rodriquez of IDEO and Metacool, Peter Rojas of Endgadget fame and Steve Portigal, a really smart innovation consultant.

Understanding products within their brand, culture and marketing ecosystems is critical and that’s what this conference is all about. Wish I could go.

Greetings from Perth, Australia.

I have been researching the formation of a charity that directly helps the disadvantaged - one to one. I was actually just trawling the internet to see if there was anything like it out there and came across your interesting article.

In addition to your thought process I considered 'what would make people actually donate to a charity'? I then thought 'what drives me to donate to certain charities'? I need a personal link to the person - such as World Vision. I sponsored a little girl and appreciated the contact that we had.

Can you please tell me if you have heard of any one to one charities in the US?

I also would like to make a change.
