Online Marketing Etiquette
A new survey of 500 online adults by New York-based marketing company Cyber Dialogue suggests that cybershoppers don't mind getting asked personal questions -- but timing is key. Here's what they considered the least favorite times for marketers to ask them personal questions:

Every time a customer visits a site 71%
When a customer asks about products 70%
When a customer requests information 61%
When a customer makes a purchase 28%
When conducting transactions 24%
