If you can’t find a topic of interest, we encourage you to suggest a business topic of your own. Despite how many we already have, there are still plenty of important topics to create.
While we cannot approve topics lacking a business focus or those that commercially promote a product or company, we do have a good number of “company” topics with a more generic feel –- think General Motors or Google. The key is that there needs to be content written about the company -– other than its own blog.
A topic can be as specific as “recession job search” or as broad as “executive search,” but not as detailed as “financial industry jobs are shrinking.” The later is a great subject for a blog post or news story that can be added or saved in the appropriate financial or employment-related topic. Think categories, not headlines.
