Something’s a Twitter at BX

March 22, 2009

Today we are pleased to announce an exciting new feature.

Business Exchange now allows you to simultaneously post your reactions (brief comments) to articles on both BX and Twitter with the click of a button. Once you link your Twitter account, we will automatically tweet your reactions to the articles posted on BX.

You might have noticed that over the last month we’ve shortened the lengths of our comments and renamed them “reactions.” Now we’ve made it easy for you to link to your Twitter account and tweet your reactions with a condensed link to the content on BX. You can choose to post to Twitter on a case-by-case basis or send all of your reactions on BX to your Twitter stream.

The best part: BX saves you time. You no longer need to cross-post articles or take the time to shrink the URL. Simply add an article to a BX topic, type your reaction, click “post to Twitter” and the reaction, with shorted URL, will appear in your Twitter stream.

Also by linking your BX account to Twitter you are enhancing your online business persona, which features your resume information from LinkedIn and keeps your Twitter network in the loop.

The BX Twitter client is a direct result of feedback from active BX users, so make sure you keep your thoughts coming.
