ForumWatch: Practical Application Advice
Posted by: Louis Lavelle on November 23, 2011
MBA applicants would rather not bother admissions committees with logistical questions about deadlines, extensions, or directions to campus. They try to save more probing questions for the schools. They also tend to commiserate with fellow applicants and students or alumni about how to approach certain practical issues they face while completing the application.
Participants of Bloomberg Businessweek’s Business School Forums often consult with each other about these matters. For instance, recently, RomainDuras asked participants to share information about a deadline extension with the executive MBA offered by TRIUM, a consortium that includes NYU Stern, the London School of Economics, and HEC Paris. So far, no one has responded.
