William W. Collins

William Collins has nearly three decades of experience in the construction industry. He serves as an operating adviser to Pegasus Capital Advisors, a private equity fund manager that provides capital and expertise to build middle-market companies. In addition, Collins serves as chairman and CEO of Stone Profiles, a Florida producer of architectural cast stone, and as chairman of Sensibuilt Building Solutions, a manufacturer of proprietary cellular PVC building products. Previously, Collins was president and CEO of GAF Materials. Collins recently took a six-month leave of absence to serve as senior vice-president of Habitat for Humanity International's Hurricane Katrina recovery. Collins received his master's degree in civil engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago, and is a 1972 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
