Suzanne Woolley

Senior Editor, Personal Finance

Suzanne Woolley, who covers personal finance, was named a senior editor for BusinessWeek in December 2007. Prior to this role, she was an associate editor in the magazine's corporations department, a position she assumed in September 2005.

Previously, Woolley was at Money magazine, where she held the positions of senior writer and senior editor. Before joining Money, she was at BusinessWeek for 12 years, where she covered many beats, including personal business, real estate, insurance, markets, and investment.

A native of Maplewood, N.J., Woolley graduated cum laude from Dickinson College with a BA in English, and completed American University's Washington Journalism semester. Woolley served on the board of the Financial Women's Assn. from 2002 through 2004. She is a member of the New York Financial Writers' Assn. and Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc.
