ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.
Bright Automotive is filling 200 jobs in Southeast Michigan over the next year to develop its plug-in electric hybrid vehicle to market.
The company said its vehicle, called the IDEA, is tailored to the needs of fleet vehicle customers. The new jobs will be based in Rochester Hills, Mich., at Bright Automotive's new technical center, which will open in 2011. Along with its operations in Anderson, Indiana, the facility will serve as the primary center for research, design and development of the IDEA.
