Imax to install 2 theaters in Israel
NEW YORK
Imax Corp. said Tuesday it agreed with Cinema City International to install two of its jumbo movie-screen digital Imax theaters in Israel.
The screens are expected to open in 2011. Cinema City will also upgrade all eight of its existing film-based Imax locations with digital technology.
Along with a digital theater in Poland, Cinema City will operate 11 digital Imax theaters when the deal is complete.
