NEW YORK (AP) — A look at the 10 biggest volume gainers on New York Stock Exchange at the close of trading:

American Vanguard Corp. : Approximately 1,740,100 shares changed hands, a 645.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.81 or 3.5 percent to $22.25.

Central Pacific Financial Corp. : Approximately 752,900 shares changed hands, a 731.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares remained unchanged at $19.73.

Colony Financial : Approximately 5,795,300 shares changed hands, a 651.5 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.16 or .7 percent to $22.58.

DCP Midstream Partners LP : Approximately 7,356,900 shares changed hands, a 2,518.9 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares fell $.10 or .2 percent to $48.80.

Empire St Rlty OP250 : Approximately 1,600 shares changed hands, a 905.8 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. The shares rose $.57 or 4.0 percent to $14.67.
