Grain futures mostly rise, pork prices fall
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery rose 7.50 cents to $7.285 a bushel; July corn rose 15.25 cents to $6.62 a bushel; July oats rose 6 cents to $3.8625 a bushel; while July soybeans slipped 0.75 cent to $13.7225 a bushel.
Beef prices rose, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose 1.18 cent to $1.2365 a pound; May feeder cattle added 1.10 cent to $1.4060 a pound; June lean hogs slipped 0.13 cent to 92.82 cents a pound.
