Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 6.25 cent to $7.09 a bushel; May corn rose 7.5 cents to $6.52 a bushel; May oats added 3.5 cents to $3.92 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 2.25 cents to $14.2825 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.07 cent to $1.2130 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.85 cent to $1.392 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.40 cent to 90.20 cents a pound.
