NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top biotechnology companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Amgen Inc. rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $86.59.

Biogen Idec rose $3.62 or 2.3 percent, to $160.98.

Celgene Corp. fell $1.87 or 1.9 percent, to $97.89.

Gilead Sciences Inc. fell $.63 or 1.6 percent, to $39.91.
