Kohl's Corp. fell $1.26 or 2.8 percent, to $43.49.

Macy's Inc. fell $.99 or 2.6 percent, to $37.78.

Nordstrom fell $1.23 or 2.3 percent, to $51.56.

J.C. Penney Co. fell $.88 or 4.2 percent, to $20.00.

Saks fell $.18 or 1.7 percent, to $10.60.

Sears Holdings Corp. rose $.28 or .6 percent, to $44.56.

TJX Companies fell $.74 or 1.7 percent, to $42.51.
