American Electric Power Co. rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $43.50.

Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.19 or .3 percent, to $56.55.

Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.07 or .1 percent, to $51.67.

Duke Energy Corp. rose $.25 or .4 percent, to $64.53.

Exelon rose $.04 or .1 percent, to $30.03.

PG&E rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $41.05.

Southern Co. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $43.63.
