Duke Energy Corp. rose $.28 or .4 percent, to $64.60.

Exelon rose $.47 or 1.6 percent, to $30.20.

PG&E rose $.17 or .4 percent, to $41.05.

Southern Co. rose $.08 or .2 percent, to $43.76.
