NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top biotechnology companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Amgen Inc. rose $.08 or .1 percent, to $86.65.

Biogen Idec fell $.79 or .5 percent, to $147.36.

Celgene Corp. rose $.74 or 1.0 percent, to $77.86.

Gilead Sciences Inc. fell $.26 or .3 percent, to $75.55.
