Las Vegas Sands Corp. rose $1.42 or 3.5 percent, to $41.98.

MGM Resorts International rose $.29 or 3.1 percent, to $9.66.

Marriott International Inc. rose $.64 or 1.9 percent, to $34.75.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. fell $.42 or 1.2 percent, to $33.30.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. rose $.78 or 1.5 percent, to $51.33.

Wynn Resorts rose $.24 or .2 percent, to $104.79.
